YTL is a Finnish union, which has the responsibility of standardization process of smart transportation, logistics, traffic services and railways.

Standardization is international work. YTL’s standards are created together in technic committees of European CEN-union, or global ISO-union. In Finland, standards are created also in “mirror committees”, which are also called monitoring groups.

Through these groups, it is possible to participate and have influence in European CEN TC 278 – Intelligent transport systems & global ISO TC 204 – Intelligent transport systems, ISO TC 22 – Road Vehicle standardization processes.

In YTL, there’s different divisions; one for vehicle manifacturers, an advisory board for logistics customers (LONK), and an advisory board for special & utility vehicles (HYÖTY).
